Missing VSS Files: Rollback Problems?

The weird thing is that as far as I know the file was never shared. I 
wonder if it was renamed or moved, and moving is done as a share + 
delete. But in the links tab, no other links were shown, so if there was 
a branch I couldn't find it. If you think that's unlikely I could check 
back again in depth. I haven't used branches so maybe if you branch it 
doesn't show up in links anymore.
