Did you follow http://www.pumacode.org/projects/vss2svn/wiki/RunningTheMigration#PreparetheVSSdatabaseformigration (i.e. run the analyze tool on your database) ? Keep in mind that analyze is a strange beast. You need to run it multiple times, and with the right flags (and with the very latest version) to do anything useful. Running 'ss physical' may tell you what the file is, at least. > * I think you need to either fix that file or exclude it from your > conversion. > Please guide me on excluding a particular file while creating a dump for > VSS repository. I haven't done it myself, so can only offer general suggestions. 1. see if you have a good copy of QQUEAAAA in backup archives 2. *on a copy of the VSS database*, delete QQUEAAAA (then analyze again) Other than that, Google, experimentation, and reading vss2svn.pl are your best bets. -Nathan > -----Original Message----- > From: vss2svn-users-bounces@lists.pumacode.org > [mailto:vss2svn-users-bounces@lists.pumacode.org] On Behalf Of Nathan > Kidd > Sent: Tuesday, March 31, 2009 9:03 PM > To: Vss2Svn Users > Subject: Re: Regarding issue with VSS2SVN > > Saurabh Joshi wrote: > >> D:/MigrationTool/ssphys.exe: unrecognized file >> Try `D:/MigrationTool/ssphys.exe --help` for more information > ... >> physdir: "//SERVER/VSS Projects/342/data", physfolder: "Q" physname: > "QQUEAAAA" >> "D:/MigrationTool/ssphys.exe" info "//SERVER/VSS > Projects/342/data/Q/QQUEAAAA" >> When I went to this specific file and tried to open this.
